On 01.02.02, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Too late for surgery, I had chemotherapy, which failed. In May the chemotherapy was changed and I was soon in remission which was celebrated and welcome and lasted nine years - until October 2011. There was progression in 2011 so more treatment was indicated and I am now back in partial remission. But I'm not only a cancer patient - I also enjoy my family, walk my dogs and am learning to draw and paint. Life is good!

Into the future

We're heading back to normal.  Youngest Daughter moved into her new housing - just 2.2 miles from home - and I went to Juvenile Hall.  Steve took down the Christmas trees, the first time he's done that before January 6th, the Feast of the Epiphany and official end of the twelve days.  He said he wanted no more memories of 2011...

Tomorrow the rest of the world catches up - County employees go back to work, the post office reopens, you know.... it's now 2012!
